Hello there, @konstantinosgeor.

 

Let me help you manage your QuickBooks Online (QBO) plan and choose the subscription level that best suits your business needs. This way, you can utilize the essential features to monitor your business's everyday transactions.

 

Each QBO plan has its own set of features. When you opt to downgrade from Plus to Essentials, you will still be able to invoice with products and services that already exist in your account. This is because you'll retain your products and services list and the latter plan also has the option to track your income and send invoices. Then, in the said process, you'll only be losing some of the essential features like inventory tracking and recurring transactions.

 

Before you downgrade, make sure you aren't losing any essential features. Also, please note that the process will remove any discounts on your current plan (Plus), and you may need to turn off some features that won't carry over to your new subscription (Essentials).

 

Whenever you're ready to downgrade, follow these steps:

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a primary or company admin.
  2. Go to Settings ⚙ or Gear icon and then Account and settings.
  3. Select the Billing & Subscription tab.
  4. Make sure your payment info is up-to-date.
  5. In the QuickBooks Online section, select Downgrade your plan
  6. Review the available plans (Essentials) and then select Choose plan.
  7. Follow the on-screen steps to downgrade your plan.
