By default, the imported customer information can still be edited in QuickBooks Online. Generally, when a user encounters unexpected behaviors, they can perform basic browser troubleshooting to fix the issue. There are times the accumulated cache and cookies in your browser are preventing you from updating the customer address.
You can start by accessing your QuickBooks account in a private or incognito window. This process will help you determine if it's a browser-related issue since this mode doesn't save site data and web searches. Feel free to use these shortcut keys to launch the window:
When you're in, try updating the address again. If they were successfully imported, you'll have to go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to improve the system performance. You may also switch to other supported browsers as an alternative.
