Is anyone experience difficulty in emailing customer's invoice?

Each time I make an attempt I keep getting an error message saying, "Delivery issue" due to incorrect email even though the emails are correct. I was able to send invoices before, but since last month I am having this problem.

Is anyone experience difficulty in emailing customer's invoice?

I appreciate you sharing your concern about sending invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Let's perform some troubleshooting steps to resolve this.

One of the recommended solutions to fix the error is to check your company and customer-facing email address fields. Please make sure they are complete, have the correct format, and don't have prefixes. If you haven't performed this yet, follow the steps below:

  1. Click the Gear icon ⚙, then select Account and settings.
  2. Choose the Company tab.
  3. Select Contact info, then check your Company email and Customer-facing email. Use these examples as a reference on what format to use. (Correctmycompany@mycompany.comIncorrect: email:mycompany@mycompany.com).

If you use location tracking, we can check the email address format of the location you used on the sales form. Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon ⚙.
  2. Choose All lists and Locations.
  3. Find the location you used on the invoice.
  4. From the Action column, select the dropdown, then Edit.
  5. Check your email address in the field “This location has a different email address for communicating with customers” and make changes if needed.
  6. Press Save.
  7. Try to resend your sales form.

If the same thing happens, open your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private or incognito window to check if this is a cache-related issue. You can use the following keyboard shortcuts:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: CTRL + Shift + P
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + N

Once signed in, send your invoices again. If it works without issues, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache. Restart your browser right after. If the issue remains, log in to your account using other supported browsers like Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, and Microsoft Edge.
