Where is your company located? Do you work for an Italy-based company using QB Online or do you need to send an invoice to an Italy-based company?
Hello there, @rossano-mancini.
Let's enable the online delivery option so you can add e-invoicing for the Italian company. However, we don't have an online payment that can be connected with the said region. Though, you can check outside QuickBooks such as Paypal, Shopify, etc. and connect it through Online banking.
To enable online delivery, here's how:
Once done, you can send an e-invoice in QuickBooks.
If you need more information about paying invoices online, you can find the answers here: Common questions about paying invoices online.
I've also added our QuickBooks Blog for more info about E-invoicing in QuickBooks:
Let me know if you have additional questions about e-invoicing or any other concerns about QuickBooks. I'm still here to provide answers. Have a good one.
When a company with its registered office in Italy must send an invoice to another Italian company, in addition to the VAT number is also required the recipient code (SDI). This is because through the SDI of the recipient company, it is possible to send the electronic invoice in xml format to its fiscal drawer registered with the Agenzia delle Entrate (italian revenue agency). Furthermore, Quickbooks should also have an SDI code for all its italian company accounts. Then this companies must communicate this code to their italian customers (with registered office in Italy) to receive electronic invoices. So, I think Quickbooks must have an agreement and be synchronized with the Agenzia delle Entrate (italian revenue agency) as a third party supplier.
Hi, yes i confirm this things and i need the same features for Italian invoices.
Thanks
Emanuele
Thanks for coming back to this thread, Emanuele.
I can share some information about how the Invoicing feature works.
With regard to the functionalities mentioned by rossano-mancini, unfortunately, they're currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online. In addition, these are the basic invoicing capabilities of the program:
Products and services (display a product/service column, SKUs, price rules, quantity, rate, and inventory)
Late fees (set the default charge when an in an invoice is X days overdue)
Progress invoicing (create multiple partial invoices from a single statement)
Messages (set the default email message sent with sales forms)
Reminders (set automatic and default email message for invoice reminders)
Online delivery (email options for all sales forms e.g. including a PDF attachment)
Statements (shows aging table at bottom of the statement)
Please know that there are plenty of applications that can integrate and provide additional services with your QBO account. For now, you'll want to consider visiting our QuickBooks App Center to find a third-party application that best suits your business needs. You may follow these steps in searching the app within QuickBooks:
I've also included an article that will help you personalize the appearance of your invoices to boost your business' brand.
Keep me posted if you have any other concerns or further questions about invoices. I'll always have your back. Happy Holidays!
Ciao Rossano, did you solved the issue somehow? integrating some other tools? I have the same problem and I would like to understand if there is a way to solve it
I have just started using this but OverEagles.com has developed an integrative tool to send and receive electronic Invoices.
Hi Litzi,
how much did you spend with overeagles.com for the integration with italian invoices system ?
Thanks
Hello,
we are looking at using Quickbooks for our Italian subsidiary which we have just incorporated and I have just seen your comment in the thread to this issue. Do you know of any other development partners other than Overeagles that could help with the set up of QB International in Italy ?
