I'm here to share some insights about this feature you're looking for. For now, the option to update the decimal format is currently unavailable in the program. The system is formatted to round off the digits up to 2 decimal places.
Having this option is good idea. But before our developers release product updates, they go through a wide range of feedback. They try to navigate a path forward with accessibility leading and wanted to be very thorough with the enhancements to make our program efficient to use.

If 3 decimal places feature is mandatory for your business, consider switching to QB Desktop or another cloud-based accounting app.
i am living in oman where 3 decimal number works but my quick books shows only 2 decimal places .... i have using quick books destop premir 2020 can any one help ?? amount should be written as 1.445

Finding new ways to adapt to our customers’ needs is how QuickBooks gets even better. For now, QuickBooks will round off the digits to 2 decimal places.
That said, having 3 decimal places is unavailable, I'd suggest sharing your thoughts and ideas through your account. Our product development team reviews all the feedback we receive to ensure we’re meeting the needs of our customers.
