There is no difference between for-profit and non-profit as far as the software goes. You set up the accounts you use. When you go through the company setup interview process you select non-profit as the type.
If you are already set up and using regular QB online and need to renew the subscription, should you stick with what you have or can/should you convert to QB online for non-profits?
Had you changed your company type to a non profit one, I would recommend to open a new blank QBO account instead and maintain your old account for the time being or export all the report to XLS prior to canceling it.
