I’m designing invoice to show VAT column and it is clearly shown but when view as pdf or print the VAT column is not existed what to do ?!

Hi there, @userinfo60.

I want to make sure that the VAT column will exist in printing invoices in QuickBooks Online.

Make sure that the Tax box in the template is selected and use the correct template. Please follow the steps below.

  1. Click the Gear icon and choose Custom form styles.
  2. Find your invoice template and click on Edit.
  3. Select Content tab.
  4. Click the second box of the invoice template, and put a checkmark on Tax
  5. Hit Preview PDF. Then hit Done

Next, let's create a sample invoice to ensure the VAT is visible. In the Invoice, click the Customise button and select the exact template that you've previously created. Then hit the Print or Preview at the bottom part and re-print the form.

If the issue persists, I'd recommend updating and repairing the adobe reader.

Here's how:

  1. Close Acrobat/Reader and all open web browser windows.
  2. Select the Start button at the bottom left of your screen.
  3. Type Control Panel, then press Enter.
  4. Select Programs and Features, then pick Adobe Reader and hit Uninstall/Change.
  5. Tap Next.
  6. Pick Repair, then Next, and tap Install.
  7. Click Finish.

After that, restart your computer and re-print the invoice to verify if its' already functioning well. For more information, check out this article: How to update, repair, or re-install Adobe Reader/Acrobat.

If the issue continues, please follow the steps on this article: Fix QuickBooks Online printing issues on browsers for Windows.

I've also added articles about personalizing forms, handling taxes, and other related topics.

Let me know how the troubleshooting goes by leaving a reply below. I want to make sure this is taken care of. Keep safe!

Have you tried the browser troubleshooting, userinfo60?

Let's begin by accessing your account in a new incognito or private window of your browser. This way, we can check if this issue is related to your current browser or not. Let me guide you how:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P

Once completed, you can log back into your account and check if the customers are displayed already. If it's already displayed, you can clear your browser's cache to optimize it. Also, your browser can start from scratch and improve your QuickBooks Online browsing experience.

Let me know how it goes so I can assist you further.
