Let’s go to the new account and correct the opening balance, finance.

You can edit the account's opening balance in the Account history to correct it.

Here's how:

1. Click Accounting on the left side menu.
2. Choose Chart of Accounts.
3. Locate the new account, then go to the Action column and click Account history.
4. Find the opening balance entry. If you've got the Date column sorted from newest to oldest, the opening balance entry may be at the end of the list.
5. Choose the opening balance entry and edit the amount. If you can't edit the amount on the screen, you can click the Edit tab.
6. Click Save to update the balance in the register.
