We did an account with QB, and it automatically said that my currency was Mexican Pesos. We don't use MXN, and the section to change to USD is blocked. How to change it?

I need to change my Home Currency to USD.

To begin with, may I ask if you used a non-US website when setting up your QuickBooks Online account? If so, please know that the region of your account will be set based on your website's country, where you've purchased your subscription, and we can't change this, which is why you can't change your home currency to US Dollars.

 

Since you want to change your home currency from Mexican Pesos to US Dollars, I suggest canceling your subscription and creating a new account by choosing the country first: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/choose-country/.

 

On the other hand, if you've used a US-based website when setting up your account and can't change your home currency due to the USD being blocked, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online Support Team.
