Hello, @mosab.

 

I can share some information about settings a user list in QuickBooks Online (QBO). 

 

The feature to set a user to generate invoices only is currently unavailable. That will be a great addition to the current features that we have, so I'll take note of it. 

 

I also encourage you to leave the feedback from within the product. Here are the steps:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Feedback.
  2. Provide your product suggestion. 
  3. Click on Next to submit feedback.

At this time, you can only set a Standard User that has limited access to Customers. Aside from creating invoices, they can also enter estimates, sales receipts, credit notes, and refunds. This user role can't see total income and expense amounts on the HomeSupplier, and Customer pages. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon ⚙ and choose Manage users.
  2. Click on Add user.
  3. Choose Standard user as the user type and then click on Next.
  4. Select Limited and then Customers for the access rights and then click on Next.
  5. Set the user settings and then click on Next.
  6. Enter their contact information and click on Save

 

You can now see the user that you've added on the Manage users page as Invited
