Can I do stock transfer to another branch using QuickBooks?

I'm here to help you transfer your stocks, plawson1x.

Before proceeding, are you trying to move your stocks to a different QuickBooks Online account? If so, I'd recommend following the steps below.

Creating a spreadsheet when moving your stocks can save you time. You can download our sample file for guidance:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Go to the Gear icon and then select Import Data.
  3. Select Download a sample file and open the file.

To make sure that you can successfully import your stocks, I'd recommend following our formatting tips:

  • Product/Service Name: See the approved characters list for more info.
  • Income Account: You can't use sub-accounts.
  • Quantity as-of Date: Formats like this: MM/DD/YYYY or DD/MM/YYYY
  • Income and Expense account: You can't use sub-accounts.

Once done, let's import the stocks to your other QuickBooks account.

Aside from manually adding your stocks, you can also export them as a report. Make sure the formatting is correct before importing them.

To ensure the number of your stocks are correct, you can perform inventory adjustments.

Additionally, I've added this article that'll help get insights on the things you buy and sell, see your best sellers, what’s on hand, and the cost of goods: Use Reports to See your Sales and Inventory Status.

Kindly update us if you have additional concerns or questions. I'll be happy to assist until you move your stocks. Keep safe always!
