The International version of QuickBooks Online (QBO) currently doesn't have a built-in payroll function. You can create journal entries to record your payroll information from brightpay, finance104.
Let's generate a journal entry through the +New button. Then, you can access the template in the Recurring Transactions page from the Gear icon once you're done. Here's how:
- Go to the +New button.
- Select Journal Entry.
- Under Date, select the paycheque(s) date.
- Input Entry # for journal entry (optional).
- Enter all the needed information (Debit and Credit accounts, amount, description, name, location, and class).
- Click Make Recurring.
- Enter the Template Name.
- Set Template Type to Unscheduled.
- Click Save Template, then Save.
