If you are using QBO SimpleStart or your account > 60 days old, you are unable to purge it. You should open a new blank QBO account.
I recognize how important it is to delete your data and start again, bkeelanelectrica. I'm here to assist you with that.
If your account has been active within 90 days of signup, let's reset it to delete your data. Please note that this is for QuickBooks Online Plus or Essentials users only. If you use the Simple Start version, you'll need to cancel your current books and start a new one.
To purge your data, I'd suggest following these steps:
However, if your account is more than 90 days, you can't reset it right away. I'd recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team to extend the purge and reset date for you. Then, you can now delete your data and start over.
Aside from that, you can also cancel your subscription and create a new one.
