Hi there, @maitha.
It's my pleasure to give you an insight into banks that is not on the list in QuickBooks Online.
There are a few possible reasons why you're unable to locate or connect the bank in QuickBooks Online (QBO):
If you're unable to find your bank after confirming the required details above, you can request support for your bank. Let me guide you how:
For more information about the process, you may visit this article: Find your bank or credit card account when you connect to online banking.
In the meantime, you can import your bank transactions manually while waiting for the bank request's result.
Here's how:
For the detailed instructions check out this article: Manually upload transactions into QBO.
Next, you can match and categorise bank transactions in QBO to ensure there aren't any duplicates.
I've included a useful article that you might use in the future about how to connect banks and what to do if you don’t see your recently downloaded bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
Please keep in touch with me here for all of your QBO needs. I'll always have your back. Take care!
I notice that QB has now built an integration with RAKBank - which is great news!
However the integration clearly needs to be fixed:
My company has 2 bank accounts - one denominated in US Dollars and one denominated in UAE Dirhams
The QuickBooks integration tool thinks that both the accounts are UAE Dirham accounts - it showed the USD balance as an AED balance (i.e. it thought that $500,000 was only 500,000 AED)
Seems like a pretty basic error to me - I'm surprised it wasn't picked up in testing by the QB team
Thanks for joining this conversation, Corranet. I'm here to share some information about this.
In QuickBooks Online, even if you have the correct USD currency from your bank, the total balance of your transaction will show up based on what home currency is in QBO.
You can learn more details about Multicurrency in this article: Turn on Multicurrency.
Also, check these resources for future reference:

Thanks for your response. We already use multicurrency in QB and have been doing so for several years
My concern with the RAK Bank integration is that the balance on our USD account according to the integration tool is an AED amount (the number is the same, just the currency has changed)
It appears that the QB-RAK Bank integration tool cannot import USD or even convert it - it just imports the value and changes the currency from USD to AED (which is a big problem for obvious reasons)
On this basis the automated integration is useless to us because half our bank transactions are in the USD account
Hello, Corranet.
Thank you for reaching to us. I suggest reaching out to RAK Bank, so they can check the setup of your currency. Alternatively, you can manually import bank transactions using Excel CSV files. You can either use the three-column or four-column format. This allows you to save time and effort in manually entering the transactions.
Here's how:
After importing transactions, you can categorise and match them. You can refer to this article on how to do it: Categorise and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
You can always swing by here if you have other questions about managing your transactions. I'm always here to help. Stay safe!
