A warm welcome to the Community, ccf2. Helping you undo an inactive account is quick and easy.

You can make the account active again through the Chart of Accounts. Below are the steps to complete the process.

  1. On your Chart of Accounts screen, click the Gear icon at the upper right.
  2. Select Include inactive.
  3. Locate the deleted or inactive account, and hit Make active.

To help you organise your chart of accounts, you can visit the following article: Delete an account on your chart of accounts in QuickBooks Online. This will provide you links and steps on how to activate and use account numbers as well as creating sub-accounts in QuickBooks Online.

We make great efforts to ensure you're taken care of. You can reach out to me if there's anything else you need. Have a good one.
