Hi management-capri,

I'm here to help you with your forms. I just want to ask what forms are you referring to?

If you're referring to sales forms, like invoices, sales receipts, or estimate forms, they normally won't print the # column. It's only visible on the transaction pages when you enter data.

Please give us more details about the forms you mean, so we can check them for you. Thanks in advance.

Hi JessT,

Thanks for your reply.

Yes I'm referring to sales forms, like Invoice and Estimate.

Yes I think you got my question, but is there anyway to show the # column in sales forms?

It's kinda difficult during discussion with customers without the # of the items.

Or, can we insert an additional column in our forms just to type the numbers for each line of items?

Thanks!

Hello again, @management-capri. Thanks for getting back and providing detailed information about your concern.

Right now, the option to add the # column on the PDF form or when printing the sales form is unavailable. As mentioned by my colleague @JessT, it'll only show when entering data on the transactions page.

While the feature you're looking for is unavailable, in the meantime, I encourage you to visit our QuickBooks Blog.
