Let's try to manually update your Paypal connection using a private window. This is to check if this is a browser-related issue.
Use the appropriate shortcut for the browser you're using:
Here's how to update the connection:
You can check this article if you encounter a bank error: https://community.intuit.com/articles/1769041.

Could it be that I have two-factor authentication set to my paypal account, why it keeps disconnecting? There must be a way around that without turning it off...
Hi @HappyKarma,
Welcome to the Community. I'm here to provide some clarification about connecting PayPal in QuickBooks Online.
Currently, the PayPal connection is available only in QuickBooks Online (QBO) US and UK. Since you're using the Global/International version, the system automatically disconnects the account.
For now, I suggest using the workaround available. You can download your PayPal transactions from the bank's website, then manually upload them to QBO to keep track of your financial records.
Here's how:
After following the steps above, the transactions will flow to the For Review tab. From there, you can categorise and match them to the existing entries in the system. It helps ensure your financial records are accurate.

Please know that I'm just a post away if you have any other questions about using QuickBooks. Take care.
