Missing menus are usually a result of too much accumulated historical data. Whenever you visit a website, it saves some information from the web page in its cache and cookies. These files allow the websites you visit most often to load faster. Not to worry, clearing them will do the trick.

 

First, let's try accessing your account through an incognito window to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue. You can refer to these shortcut keys to open an incognito window in all supported browsers:

 

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

 

If they appear, switch back to your regular browser. Then, clear its cache. This way, you can access QuickBooks with a clean slate. You can also use a different supported one.

Hi I have cleared the cache and also gone incognito. In incognito the tabs above are still missing.  What else can we try please

I know this whole situation has to be hard on you, Helen. 

 

Since you've tried the troubleshooting steps provided by my colleagues above and the issue persists, I recommend reaching out to our Support care team. They have the tools to pull up your account needed in investigating the cause of the issue.

 

Here's how: 

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Select the Help (?) menu.
  3. Choose the Assistant tab.
  4. Click the Talk to a human option.
  5. Select Get help from a human.
  6. Click either the Chat with us or Have us call you button.
