Subscribed to Developer. Used my company credentials by mistake. Does it charge me for the account (39.95USD)?

Hello, romany-s-sawires.

I have details about subscribing for a Developer account and other subscription charges.

Subscribing to Intuit Developer (https://www.developer.intuit.com/) is free of charge. There aren't any other fees when you create a Developer account. If you don't want to receive email updates and alerts to your company email address (the one you used when subscribing), then you'll want to unsubscribe from them. Here's how:

  1. Log in to https://www.developer.intuit.com/ using your company credentials.
  2. Click the profile menu (Hello <username> link).
  3. Choose Account profile
  4. Scroll down to the Email preference section.
  5. Click Unsubscribe on the email alerts options.

However, are you referring to the regular QuickBooks Online subscriptions? If so, it's likely that you'll be charged if you have a payment method in your account (using your company credentials). If this is the case, then you'll want to cancel the subscription if you don't use it. Here's how:

  1. Log in to http://qbo.intuit.com/ with your company credentials.
  2. Open the company file.
  3. Click the Gear icon, then choose Account and settings.
  4. Go to the Billing and subscription tab.
  5. On the QuickBooks box, click Cancel subscription or Cancel online.
  6. Follow the onscreen prompts to cancel your subscription.

If you've signed up for a free trial using your company credentials without a payment method, then you won't get charged. You have the option to keep using the trial company file or cancel it. Follow the steps above to start the cancellation process. Instead of "Cancel subscription", just click "Cancel trial."

Do you have any other active company files? If so, you might want to check out our articles if you need help with a certain task.

Reach out to me again if you have other concerns for QuickBooks Online. Add the details of your issue below and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Have a great week ahead.
