Hi there,

 

Let me guide you on how to add an employee allowance to your pay run. Here's how:

 

  1. Click on the Payroll tab.
  2. Click on Pay Categories.
  3. Click on Add and select Fixed.
  4. Enter a name of the pay category (e.g Travel allowance).
  5. Click on Add.
  6. If allowance needs to be reported separately on employee income statements, select the Allowance payment classification.
  7. Click on Save.

Then, to show the pay category to the pay run.

 

  1. Click on the Payroll tab and choose the employee name from the list.
  2. Click on the Pay rates.
  3. Select the new pay category and enter rate.
  4. Tick box for Show in Pay Run.
  5. Click on Save.

That's it! You've now created a new travel allowance and should be able to add them in a pay run.
