One QBO account is for one company file. You can manage branches/divisions by utilizing the Class/Location feature. Otherwise you should open a new account.

Another option, consider switching to QB Desktop with a one time license. You can manage multi company files without additional cost.

ADD A COMPANY TO MY ACCOUNT ?

I've got some steps pon how t add a company to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) subscription, smeraventures. 

 

We'll need to sign-up for a new QBO account to create another company. One company file is equivalent to one subscription. In just a few steps you can create a new company or add a company subscription.

 

To create a new QuickBooks Online company:

  1. Go to https://quickbooks.intuit.com/in/pricing/
  2. Select Try 30days Free Trial.

To add company subscriptions:

  1. Go to https://quickbooks.intuit.com/in/pricing/.
  2. Select Try 30days Free Trial.
  3. Below "Already have an account?", select Sign in.
  4. Sign in with your previous or current user ID and password for other company subscriptions. Follow the onscreen prompts to set up a new subscription under your existing login.

 

To put this company under your existing Intuit ID, log into your current company when creating a new account. Simply click on the Add another company button when creating another account (I'll be adding a screenshot for reference). From there, you'll only be asked for an Email address and Password (you should be using the same email address).
