Does Quickbooks refund my Essential Plan if I have cancelled it the same day of the renewal?

I'm cancelling my plan because my business is KO because of COVID-19.

Does Quickbooks refund my Essential Plan if I have cancelled it the same day of the renewal?

Your existing subscription will remain active until your next billing date after cancelling it. This means that you keep your account and make transactions until the end of your billing cycle. 

 

I would also recommend reaching out to our Chat Support Team with regards to your inquiry about the refund. They can verify your account and help you further with your subscription payment. Here's how:

 

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right hand corner.
  2. Click Contact Us.
  3. Enter a short description or provide details of you concern, then click Let's talk.
  4. Click Chat.

You might also see this option when reaching out to them:

 

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right hand corner.
  2. Type in "Talk to a human", then press Enter.
  3. Look for I still need a human and click on it.
  4. Click Contact Us.
  5. Select between Send a messageSchedule an appointment, or Get a callback.

 

Please take note that when you cancel your subscription, you have read-only access to your QuickBooks Online data for one year after you cancel your subscription. Within this period, you can still run reports or view transactions. Then, the system will automatically delete it after a year of cancellation.
