I am in the middle of QBO Plus subscription paid annually and there is some 7-month until next renewal. I wish to downgrade my subscription now, how the fee be calculated

Glad to have you here in the Community, Chan. Let me share information about downgrading your QuickBooks Online subscription.

 

With QuickBooks Online, you can change your plan at any time. However, two things can happen, you'll either be charged for the full rate of the new subscription and receive a prorated refund, or just the total amount that was already deducted by the remaining months.

 

Before you downgrade, make sure you don't lose any necessary features. Please note, that any discounts that may have been linked to your existing plan will be eliminated by the downgrade. Please know that there are some features will disable after the upgrade is completed. Refer to the steps set out in this section if you currently use any of these functions.

 

Whenever you're ready to downgrade, follow these steps:

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a primary or company admin.
  2. Go to the Gear icon and then Account and Settings.
  3. Select the Billing & Subscription tab.
  4. Make sure your payment info is up-to-date.
  5. In the QuickBooks Online section, select Downgrade your plan
  6. Review the available plans and then select Choose Plan.
  7. Follow the on-screen steps to downgrade your plan.
