I am not able to add new user.

Allow me to provide some information about setting up a user in the online program.


Before proceeding, may I know if you encounter any issues or errors? This is to check if we have a reported issue.


In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can invite employees to perform specific tasks. The maximum number of billable and accountant users you can add depends on your subscription.

 

  • Simple Start: 1 billable user + 1 accountant user
  • Essential: 3 billable users + 1 accountant user
  • Plus: 25 billable users + 1 accountant user

If you‘re having an issue with receiving the code, I recommend contacting our QBO Care Team. They have extra tools to help make sure it's sent to your phone number.


To reach them:

 

  1. In your company, go to the Help menu.
  2. In the Assistant tab, enter the topic or issue in the Type something field.
  3. Select Contact Support Team and then select Chat to connect with a live agent.
