I've checked my resources here, and there are no similar reports regarding your concern, @marynessa-works. But I'm here to provide an alternative method to complete your task.

The PayPal connection is currently available in QuickBooks Online (QBO) US and UK. That's why the system automatically disconnects this specific account since you're using our Global version.

As a workaround, I'd suggest downloading your PayPal transactions from the bank's website. Then, import them to QBO to keep track of your financial records. I'll guide you how.

  1. Log into your bank’s website and follow the steps to download your transactions using an acceptable file format.
  2. Set the date range and follow any on-screen instructions to finish the download.
  3. Reformat the file if necessary and save it on your desktop.
  4. Go to Banking from the left menu and select the Banking tab.
  5. Choose the blue tile for the PayPal account.
  6. Click File upload from the Update drop-down list.
  7. Choose Browse and select the downloaded file and click Next
  8. From the QuickBooks account drop-down menu, choose the PayPal account and click Next
  9. Match the columns on the file with the banking fields in QBO and choose Next.
  10. Select Let's go

To learn more about the process above, see Steps 2 - 5 through this article: Manually Upload The Transactions Into QBO

You can also request support for your bank to ask us to add it to the program for future releases.

Once done, the transactions will flow to the For Review tab. From there, you can categorise and match them to the existing entries in the system. It helps ensure your financial records are accurate.

I'm here anytime you have other concerns. Keep safe always and more power to your business, @marynessa-works.
