One of the users of my system cannot access QB online as it says that he is blocked. When I look at the users, it says he is active. How can he access the accounts again?

One of the users of my system cannot access QB online as it says that he is blocked. When I look at the users, it says he is active. How can he access the accounts again?

Hello there, @usercoachrenouk.

 

I'm here to guide you on how to make the authorized user access your company file in QuickBooks Online.

 

Before that, I'd like to know if the user has forgotten their password or the username. If this is the cause he or she was blocked to access the company file, I'd recommend clicking the option Forgot password and follow the on-screen instructions. Or you can make the user inactive and ask for a new email address to add the user.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Settings and select Manage users.
  2. Locate the user that was blocked, click the drop-down icon and select Delete.
  3. Confirm the action by clicking Delete again. This is how it looks like:

 

Once done, go back to the Manage users page and add a user. Then, enter the new email address of the user. Let them take note of the user id and password to avoid this scenario again.
