Hello there, @services-theadep.
QuickBooks automatically creates an opening balance once the bank account is connected to our program. The amount that shows up there is based on the real-life bank account. The transactions that you've entered also affect the balance.
What we can do is either edit or delete it to correct it. Here's how:
If you're likely to correct your bank balance, the figure you see depends on the transactions that have been cleared from your account. You'll want to contact your financial institution to verify why it is showing as negative.
Also, you can get more information about what to review so you can start reconciling: Fix issues for accounts you've reconciled in the past in QuickBooks Online.
I'll be around if you need anything else, services-theadep. Take care and stay safe.
