Hello there, @Gayan.

I've got some instructions to share on how you can get rid of the error that you received in QuickBooks Online.

The 502 Bad Gateway error is an HTTP status code that means one server on the internet received an invalid response from another server. To get this sorted out, I suggest resetting the app to refresh the connection.

To do that:

  1. Click Help on the navigation bar at the top.
  2. Select on Reset App Data.
  3. Allow a moment for the process to complete, and then close the app.
  4. Be sure to right-click the app and Run as Administrator when re-opening.

If the problem continues after performing these steps above, you may uninstall and reinstall the application to reload the data. You may also check out this link attached for more troubleshooting actions to be taken when you've encountered issues while using the app: QuickBooks App for Windows and Mac: General support.

I got your back if you have any other questions. I'll be right here to address them. Have a good one!

I'm here to help ensure you're able to open the desktop app of QuickBooks Online, Hollim.

You can restart your computer to close all open programs. Then, open QuickBooks desktop app.

If the same issue persists, you can uninstall and re-install the program. Before proceeding, I recommend checking out the minimum requirements to know what computer you need to access the app.

To get the app, o to http://quickbooks.intuit.com/apps/. Scroll down to Get the QuickBooks Mac or Windows App section, and select Free Download, then select Download Now.

Also, you can open your QuickBooks Online account by logging in through the web-browser. It's the best way to access and work on your books while you're unable to use the app.
