Cash Flow Data

In Cash Flow Planner, why can't I see six months to a year in advance? I can only see current month plus two more months.

Cash Flow Data

Good day, Cindy Wermers!

Let me provide a few info on what data are being displayed in your Cash Flow Planner.

Here are the following places where we get info about your planner:

  • Your connected bank and credit card accounts.
  • Future dated transactions you've entered within QuickBooks with due dates.
  • Manually added events to the planner.

Just make sure that the filter you set in your planner is correct. Also, if there are no transactions entered in the future months, there will be no data will show.

To verify if the issue is not a browser-related issue, you can set the date on your planner through a private browser. This type of browser doesn't save any browsing history or cache data that can sometimes cause unusual behavior within QuickBooks. You can use these keyboard shortcuts to open one:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

Then, log in to QuickBooks and then filter your Cash Flow Planner from there. If it works and you can see other months in the date range drop-down, you can go back to the regular browser and clear the cache. If the issue persists, you can use other supported browsers to isolate these kinds of issues.
