I live outside of the US and want to update my credit card info however I do not receive the option to change country. I have to fill out a US state and zipcode
Great to have you here in the Community, mitchelltdejong.
When you sign up for QuickBooks Online (QBO), the region you selected is the country that associates with your Intuit login. It’s likely you’re subscribed to a US version of the program. This might be the reason you have no option to change the country and it prompts you to fill out a US state and zip code.
To help fix this, let’s first cancel your US subscription. Then, sign up for an International version specific to your country. This way, you’ll be able to update your credit card information.
To cancel the US subscription:
For more information about the cancellation process, go through this article: Cancel QBO Account.
To sign up for an International version:
Once signed up, you can update the payment information for your subscription.
You can always go to the Billing & Subscription menu to easily manage your company info and billing details. To learn more about this menu, visit this article: How To Update Your Subscription And Billing Details.
After that, you can now use your QBO account. To help you get started and learn more about the program’s features, check out these articles:

I am having the same problem, but are you saying that I have to lose 2 years of entries that I made in the US version? Is there a way to migrate the information over the the International Version or my country specific version? Also, what about the loss of functionality eg. not being able to do printed cheques in the country specific version. Please answer these important questions, as cancelling and starting from scratch is not an attractive option!
Are there any other payment methods such as Paypal that might work?

Each version (country) of QuickBooks is assigned to a different server. Therefore, we don't have the option to migrate information from the US version to the International version.
All you have to do is to export the data from the US version and import them to the international version of QuickBooks.
To export your report or list:
For additional guidance, you can read this article: Export reports, lists, and more.
Once completed, import the data to the international version of QuickBooks. For additional reference, you can check these articles:

hi @bgibbs ,
You have to use Global version in Barbados now.

Utilize the trial period of a 3rd party backup tool and use the Copy feature to migrate your data between accounts.

HELP!!
Hello there, plhamesq.
When exporting data, export it should ask you a location to save the file. You'll want to verify the default folder such as the "Downloads" folder. This way, you can locate the data exported.
If you need references about importing and exporting data in QBO, you can refer to the articles shared by AngelynT above.
You might also want to visit our QuickBooks Online learning guides for tutorials and webinars about the product.
The Community is always open if you have other questions. I'll be around to help. Wishing you a great day ahead.
You may have other options to migrate data between 2 QBO accounts:
1. Utilize a migration tool
https://transactionpro.grsm.io/qbo
2. Purchase a 3rd party conversion service.
