Let me explain to you some information about the QBM format and help walk you through the steps on how to restore your data in your account.
You can restore the data in QBM format if you're using QuickBooks Desktop. But if you don't have, you can utilize our trial version. Before doing that, make sure your computer meets minimum requirements, so you're able to download QuickBooks without any problem.

Once done, you can restore the data by following the steps below.

After that, you're now able to move the data into your QuickBooks Online. Please note that not all of your lists and reports will be converted to your QBO because of feature differences. Also, ensure that the company file isn’t too big to export.

Which QB Desktop version you have? US or UK?
Keep in mind, you are only able migrate QBD US file to QBO US version and QBD UK file to QBO UK. You need other method migrating data to QBO India.
