I have my QB info saved on my desktop for a quick sign in daily but I signed in yesterday and it signed me into QB Accounting, I have never touched that area of QB yet and wont need to so I dont know why it did that. I tried to switch back to QB online but it says it requires a different sign in. I haven't made another sign in and the one I have only signs me into QB Accounting. My job requires QB online desktop and I need to be able to switch back asap, what it seems like happened is that QB melded my info together into one account and prioritized QB accounting between the two so now I can't get in.

They're able to check your account in a secure space. Also, they can perform a series of steps to ensure you can login to your original QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.

If you have plans to have multiple companies in the future, you'll want to use the same login info. This way, you can easily switch between them.
Also, you're able to customize QBO the way you want it to. To achieve this, you'll just have to modify some preferences on the Account and Settings page. For more details, please check out this resource: Edit company settings.
