update payment not working

How do we update our billing details as card number has changed?

How to you actually get to speak to a person not a dam robot

The program works well but all contact with quickbooks is a painful process as nothing under billing works, the link just hangs and after i updated the process and click pay it still says payment is outstanding

Get a proper email address so that customers can actually email you people and not talk to brainless robots that cant help

update payment not working

I appreciate you trying to contact our support team to help with your concern about updating your credit card payment information, @knightowl. But don't worry, I'm here to help ensure you can update your credit card payment info in your QuickBooks Online (QBO).

To clarify, did you receive any error message when updating the payment info? Or did the page just hang up? If this is the case, I suggest logging in to your QBO account using a private browser. It's possible that the browser you're using had a data issue, thus causing unusual behavior in QuickBooks. To open a private browser, press this shortcut key on your keyboard:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P

If this works, it means that you need to clear the browser's cache so the system can start fresh. If you get the same result while using a private browser, I recommend switching to a different one.

If the issue persists, I highly recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. One of our live agents will help you update your credit card payment info. To reach them, you can follow the detailed steps below:

  1. In your QBO account, click the Help button.
  2. In the QuickBooks Assistance chatbox, select Talk to a human and choose I still need a human.
  3. Select Contact Us.

Come back to this post and let me know how it goes, @knightowl. I want to make sure this is taken care of.

You may want to view your payment history in QuickBooks. This article will guide you through the process: View your payment history.

Wishing you all the best!
