Let's run some troubleshooting steps so you can successfully save the fiscal year upon setting it up.
The error you received usually comes up when you and another user working within QuickBooks Online (QBO) at the same time. If it's the case, you'll want to coordinate with the other user to ensure you can work seamlessly.
If none of the other users aren't logged in, let's log in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private browser. One of the possible reasons why you experience unusual behavior or errors in QuickBooks is that the browser you're using had a data issue. To do so, press this shortcut key on your keyboard:
If this works, you need to clear the browser's cache so the system can start fresh. If you get the same result while using a private browser, I suggest switching to a different one.
