I know this has been asked before and the usual answer is that data has to be exported from UK version in imported to International/IE version but I'm wondering if Intuit have any plans in place to make this a much simpler process.
My difficulty is that I have clients who have been uploading attachments to QBOUK for a few years now and I only seem to have two options because of this. Download each attachment from QBOUK one by one and attach them in QBOIE one by one, a process that could take weeks given that some clients have thousands of attachments, or "warehouse" the UK version for seven years until the documents are no longer required, paying a double subscription for all of that time.
Are there any plans to develop something that might help me or am I stuck using the UK version for the foreseeable future?
Hello there, @stephenconnelly.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts here in the Community. I understand how convenient it would be to have this feature in QuickBooks.
At the moment, all our plans are subject to further study. We're unable to promise you the exact time for this to happen. In the meantime, I'm encouraging you to visit our QuickBooks blogs. It's where we post our updates and news about our newly added features and innovations. '
You also want to check out our QuickBooks Articles hub. We have available resources that may help you with your concerns.
Let me know if you have additional questions. I'm always around to listen and help in any way I can.
Your client should start using the QBO Ireland version.

then ask them to pay the subscription of their QBO UK version once a year to keep it active for the time being. Their total cost will be lower than purchasing a 3rd party migration service.
