How to download expense date wise in excel formate

Great to have you here, devrajgtm66.

If you are referring to downloading the expenses data from your suppliers, you can import them using the supported Excel format. The XLS is the file format of Microsoft Excel 1997-2003; Microsoft Excel 2007 and newer use the XLSX file format. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Import Data.
  3. Select any of the following types of data you want:
    • Customers
    • Suppliers
    • Chart of Accounts
    • Products and Services
    • Invoices
    • Bills
  4. Click the Download a sample file link.

You can read through this article for more detailed information about the individual file format: Common questions about importing data to QuickBooks Online.

You can also check out third-party applications that might help you download expense data into QuickBooks Online (QBO). Intuit does not provide recommendations or support for third-party applications or websites; if you have an issue you will need to contact the provider of the third-party product.

Feel free to visit our Importing and Exporting Data page for more insights about bringing your data in and out in QBO.
