Hi there, @Oxxy.
Let me enlighten you about QuickBooks Desktop and help you from there.
QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) allows you to choose which location you want to store the data when installing the software. If you want to save the data into a local drive, you can only see those data on your computer.
While storing your data through a server, it'll let you share the data on a different computer. However, you'll have to install a multi-user network for QBDT.
On the other hand, QBDT does have a pricing plan which is a one-time payment and has a 3-year lifecycle. You can check out this link to know the comparison of each plan: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/desktop/.
Also, QBDT allows integration with a number of third-party apps and software. In your case, since you're trying to integrate QBDT with other systems, I recommend reaching out to their customer support. This way, you can ask them if they can sync the information from QuickBooks.

if it is Quickbooks server can the integrated system interacte via API with Quickbooks ?
Hello @Oxxy,
Here's an article you can read to learn more about the QuickBooks server: Install QuickBooks Database Server Manager.
While it is using the QuickBooks server, I'd also recommend checking our Developer Support forum. From there, someone can help you and share what steps you need to follow for API integration in QuickBooks. To do so:
I've got you this helpful article for updates from our developers: Developer Support Blog.

When you are installing QBD, you will have 3 options:
1. Install as a stand-alone or client
2. Install as a host (you are working in the same machine and storing the file to let others access it in multi-user mode)
3. Install server as storage only
Then you may consider deploying a private cloud to let users access your local data file by internet connection.
Hi there, dawg1.
I understand you need to speak to a tech support person from QuickBooks Desktop to assist you in reactivating your account.
QuickBooks Desktop support recently changed the way to contact them from phone to messaging. This is to ensure you are routed to the right QuickBooks team. This is also the quickest and most secure way for you to find answers and get next-level assistance.
To start with, please open your QuickBooks Desktop and click on the Help icon in the top navigation menu or press the F1 key to access your support options. This is the only way to reach an expert.
