QuickBooks online India has stopped phone support!!!

We have been using QuickBooks online ever since they launched in India.

It is been more than two weeks that we were trying to reach QuickBooks India phone support on their number which is [phone number removed], just to renew few of our QuickBooks online subscriptions. However after several attempts we were not able to reach them on the given number since that number does not exist anymore.

Eventually today we got a representative from QuickBooks over to chat and we were so surprised and astonished to know that QuickBooks India has stopped the tech support services over the phone. Right there and then it just rang the bell that this is probably the reason that QuickBooks online has reduced their prices drastically however, they deliberately have hidden the fact from the consumers that there wouldn't be any form support anymore.

We knew it since beginning that QuickBooks online in India would be complete failure and that came true. Just imagine a beautiful and yet complex software they expect the Indian consumers to use by their own without any support at all. They do however, have a chat support but like I said one chat representative to whom we were talking to today was engaged with multiple consumers at a single given time and on an average he was taking about 2-3 minutes to reply back to our every single message.

God bless QuickBooks online India and the consumers who will be using it. We surely have canceled our all subscriptions from QuickBooks online India today.

It was good while it lasted

We appreciate you for giving us feedback about the availability of the phone support for QBO users in India, Aman Gill.

Just like the other QBO users in the International regions, they can only get in touch with the chat support Aside from that, the Community is open 24/7 to hear your concerns. We always get back to you as soon as we are available.

We'll take note of your feedback so we can improve our services and supports toward you and the other QBO users.

Keep us posted if you need anything else regarding the program, and we'll be right here to get you covered.

QuickBooks online India has stopped phone support!!!

Hello James,

Thanks for your reply.

QuickBooks is such a product which couldn't run with the phone support, especially in a country like India where people DO NOT have the basic knowledge of operating a financial software.

Chat support is a not a feasible option for QuickBooks users at all.

Let's just hope that Intuit gets a good market hold in India so that it can afford to provide phone support to the customers.

Best,

Aman Gill.

I fully agree with Aman.

It shows that quickbooks does not consider India as a feasible market and is not able to compete with the like of quickbooks and Busy. This is further shown by the fact that quickbooks does not even bother to update its software as per Indian needs. Case in point: Quickbooks still does not realise that state code for Daman and Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli have merged ages ago. With the new merger of banks and banks updating their software, bank of Baroda link with quickbooks has been broken since December and all I get from quickbooks its excuses.

I think its time to shift back to tally etc.

QuickBooks online India has stopped phone support!!!

So true this is. Finally people are raising this. Every time I go to the online chat support, they have wasted at least an hour or so and never even once have they succeeded in providing a solution. I have literally spent 2 hours taking to a guy and all he did was gave me links to material I already have access to. If there is an issue in your platform, accept it and work to improve. But you guys have not worked on a single thing for indian market.

Only for a breif period of time after gst you had given good attention to update your platform. Then your development team just stopped, though I doubt you have a development team here, if yes they are more than horrible.

E way bills came, tax collected on source came, e invoicing came. A lot has changed since you last updated. This platform has become outdated and it refuses to update. If you don't want to update at least collaborate with other service providers, offer app integrations as a solution. Just visit the app store. Not one app to help with e way bills, e invoicing not one indian app that handles inventory.. all apps charge in dollars.. and incredibly expensive for even simple integrations like commission tracking... Which in the first place should be offered by qbo itself. I would rather have qbo charge me extra for the features i need then paying then in foreign currency and increasing my costs for an app which works independently from qbo and i have to worry about correct data sync all the time. Half of my time gets wasted in checking what got synced and what did not. That too for such simple features.

E invoicing is not offered by qbo till now. We needed it for our business. So i asked their award winning support if this feature will come to qbo or not. No clear answer. Asked again after some time as deadline was near, again no clear answer. Sensing their response started looking for an app for e invoicing. Contacted a lot of providers who had api's and we're ready to integrate with any accounting software. Asked then if they can integrate with qbo. Got a response that we can integrate with any platform like SAP, tally, busy or even with any locally made software but not qbo. Why because none of them could contact anyone in qbo for such api integration. If they are not able to contact qbo india, how can we.

As a last resort now just using qbo for basic accounting only, invoicing and gst on some other platform and looking to shift to some compliant software. And leads here to what is good for indian scenario will be appreciated. Thanks!

Qbo guys please take this as a constructive criticism and start improving instead of deleting this comment.

It really seems, QBO - India is not bothered about customers in India. I have been trying to resubscribe, unfortunately the payment/ resubscribe option does not work and resets. I chatted with customer support on two separate occasions, however, none of them were able to resolve the problem. Quickbooks support team too was not able to resolve this issue.

A simple step of being able to make a subscription payment does not work and they seem to be the only ones here in India that is unable to resolve such a simple issue.

I am forced to look into the other alternatives and there are many of them.
