Let's get this sorted out by making sure both Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet reports have the same Dates and Filters. This can be the factor why the reports don't match.

If the periods for both are correct and the same thing happens, we can perform some basic troubleshooting to match the statements of the two reports.
First, log in to your QBO account using an incognito or private browser. Since this doesn't store data in the cache, it the best place to isolate browser issues. Kindly use either of the following shortcut keys:
Then try running the two reports again. if both statements match, you may want to clear the browsing history of your regular web browser. This will remove previously-stored browsing data that might have caused the issue. Otherwise, you can try using other supported browsers to be thorough.
