Sometimes local internet cache files stored in the system can cause unexpected behavior in the product. This can be the reason why you're unable to open the Tax Summary report.
Let me share with you some basic troubleshooting steps so we can address the issue. To start, access your account in a private window. This doesn't save the search histories and password in your web browser. Just press the following shortcut keys to open this mode:
- Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
- Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox).
- Control + Option + P (Safari).
Once done, open again the report and check if you're able to open it.
If yes, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. You can also open another supported browser to access your account. This might be a temporary issue with QuickBooks and the current browser that you use.
