Good day, @carla9.
Sometimes local internet cache files stored in the system can cause unexpected behavior in the product. This can be the reason why you're unable to open the Tax Summary report.
Let me share with you some basic troubleshooting steps so we can address the issue. To start, access your account in a private window. This doesn't save the search histories and password in your web browser. Just press the following shortcut keys to open this mode:
Once done, open again the report and check if you're able to open it.
If yes, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. You can also open another supported browser to access your account. This might be a temporary issue with QuickBooks and the current browser that you use.
To add up, here are some resources that you can use in handling your reports in QuickBooks.
I'm always here to help if you have any other concerns or questions. Just tag my name in the comment section and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Have a great day ahead.
This has not resolved the problem for me. The report is still not working. When I click on View Reports, Taxable Sales Summary the following message appears 'Something went wrong. We are working on it'. Can you please advise.
Thanks for joining in this thread, @TMG19. I appreciate you for following the steps shared by my peer.
Since the basic troubleshooting didn't resolve your issue, I'd recommend you contact our Customer Care team. They can conduct a screen-sharing session to check what's causing this to happen.
They can also help you submit a case to our engineers to investigate this problem whenever necessary.
I've also got you an article in case you'll need some easy steps to customise reports and use filters to display what you only want to appear in a report.
Let me know if you have additional concerns. We're always delighted to help you more.
