Published Change Logs

Maybe we now have the ability to focus our feeback through a signle forum section, can we please start publishing a change log as and when the product is updated and changed with new or FIXED features. The USA site has one so why doesn't us UK users have one. This is benificial as user can see what has changed with out having to happen on changed themselves.

Totally agree with you Mark.  In the last few  months, there have been changes made and no notification made.  We only see the changes when we notice something is missing or works differently.  
Why can't QBO post changes to their customers; it's not the first time any of us have mooted this or used FEEDBACK.  Any other software company issues release notes....

 

While I'm here, could the notifications button on the dashboard be utilised?  Does it do anything.  I've never had a notification.

Hello MCooney, thanks for sharing your option on this as well, in regard to the dashboard this will only show notifications if you have notifications set up for stuff like recurring invoices.

Hi Ashleigh.  We have many recurring transactions set up for reminders but never get reminders/notifications.

Hello MCooney, is it set up here can you check main cog wheel>account and settings>sales>Reminders>Automatic invoice reminders> toggle on>save>done

Hi Ashleigh, that's for sending out reminders to customers re overdue invoices -  not for recurring transactions for which the reminder doesn't work, for us.  I'll report it to support.

Hello MCooney, apologies, so having looked into it more there should be an option to set a reminder on the recurring invoice which will then notify you on the dashboard.

Hi Ashleigh. So much conflicting information.  I have just spent a frustrating one hour on line to support / chat.  They advised me to get reminders you have to go into the recurring transactions and select the reminder list!!! 
They also said the bell button on the home screen is for product updates.  In two years, we have not received one notification via this icon. 
I am none the wiser and have more grey hair in one hour.  Why is there so much conflicting information?

@MCooneyWell that's new regarding the bell icon. MInd, blown. Still as you say, never seen anything to say there was anything ot read in there.
