The QB executables exist on the Server, as well as on the users’ PCs.</P><P>Running file doctor, etc. has no impact on this problem.</P><P>Running in Single User or Multiuser modes has no impact on this problem.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>The Problem:</P><P>Although both user accounts are set for full access, the Employee Centre is usually absent, this includes for the Admin account. By usually absent I mean that normally the Employees pane on the Home screen is missing.&nbsp; The Employees drop-down menu is always present, but when the Employees pane is missing the menu has a limited number of items.&nbsp; One of the items is always Employee Centre, which will open the Employee Centre, but the Payroll tab is always missing when QB is in this “usual” mode.&nbsp; There is another variant of this problem where the Employees pane is present on the Home screen, but when accessed the Payroll tab is missing.&nbsp; When in this “usual” mode, I cannot carry out any payroll functions, other than editing employee details.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>I have a work around, which is not very satisfactory, but works eventually for a short period. Try again in a few hours (101)'.&nbsp; It doesn't ever connect (ever!).</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>I contacted support and after about 20 emails back and forth they suddenly said multicurrency PayPal accounts weren't supported and I should import the transactions manually using a CSV file.&nbsp;</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>I mentioned this to my accountant and he was surprised as he said he had lots of clients with multicurrency PayPal accounts and it works fine for them.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>I tried another support ticket as my other one had been closed.&nbsp; I was eventually told the same thing - it's not supported and I can only import GBP.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>Is this true - does Quickbooks actually no longer support multicurrency? <P>Quick books team</P> <P>&nbsp;</P> <P>Our ID [removed]354</P> <P>&nbsp;</P> <P>Please can someone look into the reason on the invoice section?</P> <P>The invoices on the system indicates &nbsp;that we can take deposits, and when we do the box at the bottom of the invoice page is correct but does not appear on the Printed copy or the PDF going via the E mail.</P> <P>&nbsp;</P> <P>When we came to Q B it took a long time to set up the invoice page which had to do,</P> <P>Evelyn dealt with this issue, back in February 2019.</P> <P>Phone calls were made to say I could do this in Word, However we are not able to do this as it’s beyond our knowledge, so could someone your end, add the extra bits to the invoice page to bring this into operation?</P> <P>&nbsp;</P> <P>Also we have put in the Notes section, that we would like a stamped address envelope to return a receipt, this does not appear to be printing that part. (Start up company)</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>The business has now made money and I want to&nbsp;reimburse myself, not just make a record of it.&nbsp;</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>First question: Is writing a cheque and then creating a Journal Entry the only way to do this? if not, how else?<BR /><BR />Second question: If I use the cheque option can I still just transfer the money via online banking from the business bank account to my personal bank account once I have created the cheque?</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>Third question: When filling in the Journal Entry, under Account (on the creditors line) do I choose 'Director's current account'. I have read I need to use 'Owner's Equity' but that is not an option&nbsp;</P>

<P>I am fairly new to quickbooks so forgive me if I'm doing something wrong. I usually use the mobile app and have had no issues but I also use Quickbooks online. I seem to be having problems with quickbooks online though, several times I have attached receipts to expenses but they dont appear when I log back in. Also it doesnt seem to update the work I'm doing when I go back on to using my mobile app. Is it better to just keep to the mobile app ? Thanks</P>

However, many software's and hosting payments I make supply their invoices in USD and sometimes Euros.</P><P>The problem is, when I upload the receipts or forward the receipts via email it is accounting for them in GBP. <P>The Setup:</P><P>QB Pro 2019 Desktop with Payroll</P><P>Additional licence for extra user, over and above the 2 users permitted under the original licence</P><P>2 full-access user accounts normally in use.</P><P>The company file resides on a Server. The QB executables exist on the Server, as well as on the users’ PCs.</P><P>Running file doctor, etc. has no impact on this problem.</P><P>Running in Single User or Multiuser modes has no impact on this problem.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>The Problem:</P><P>Although both user accounts are set for full access, the Employee Centre is usually absent, this includes for the Admin account. By usually absent I mean that normally the Employees pane on the Home screen is missing.&nbsp; The Employees drop-down menu is always present, but when the Employees pane is missing the menu has a limited number of items.&nbsp; One of the items is always Employee Centre, which will open the Employee Centre, but the Payroll tab is always missing when QB is in this “usual” mode.&nbsp; There is another variant of this problem where the Employees pane is present on the Home screen, but when accessed the Payroll tab is missing.&nbsp; When in this “usual” mode, I cannot carry out any payroll functions, other than editing employee details.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>I have a work around, which is not very satisfactory, but works eventually for a short period. If I create a new account with full access, say, User3, then this will have access to all payroll functions for about a day, after which the Employee Centre will go missing for this new account.&nbsp; Sometimes I have to create a sequence of new accounts until I create one where the payroll functions are accessible, but there seems to be no pattern to this.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>This problem did not exist until we started using more than the Admin account.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>Mike</P>

I was reluctant to enter the date of the initial cash drawn as the bank would have been reconciled for an earlier month and could cause problems. The balance of cash is shown on the dashboard. Does the expense have to relate to the actual date of the cash drawn until that balance is used or can it relate to another cash withdrawn date?&nbsp;</P>

<P>Hi there, i'm hoping someone can help me with my inventory issues.&nbsp;<BR />I sell items to my customers in 3 ways:<BR />1 - I buy items from a supplier once a customer has ok'd a quote and sell these items to my customer.</P><P>2 - As above but I sell the items along with a service to install the items.&nbsp;</P><P>3 - I take an order and my supplier send it out direct so I don't actually handle anything.&nbsp;</P><P>I do occasionally buy more than one of an item ordered if I think I will sell it again within a few months but it doesn't happen very often.<BR />I've already added a couple of items to a stock list.<BR />All the purchases made for resale on my historical data I categorised as "stock asset" in expenses and i'm wondering if this was the right thing to do.&nbsp;<BR />I'm hoping someone can clarify this for me as i'm finding it all a little overwhelming. <P>Client contacted me about an issue with quickbooks self-employed after updating the app today. (5/9/19)</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>He has over 10,000 miles logged into the app which I was able to view briefly on the reports page. But when I refreshed the page it would only show trips for today (chrome browser on desktop accessed through pro-advisor) regardless of the filter settings. going back through the reports page did not fix the issue. The figures are even missing from the tax summary and profit and loss!</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>This is the same behavior the client was getting using the app on his mobile.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>Tried exporting the data instead but that only includes todays as well.</P>

<P>I have a PayPal UK account that has US Dollars (primarily) and a very small pound balance.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>After some pain in the setup, I had this working nicely in my Quickbooks account.&nbsp; The pound items weren't imported, which is fine because there were about two and they weren't significant. The dollar items came through fine.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>About two months ago, I found just the balance came through, not the transactions.&nbsp; I tried to post a support question but was diverted to the help, which suggested I try disconnecting and reconnecting my PayPal account. I disconnected it and... it would not reconnect. When I try to reconnect, it doesn't get as far as the two-factor authentication - it just says 'Something unexpected happened and we couldn't connect to your bank. Try again in a few hours (101)'.&nbsp; It doesn't ever connect (ever!).</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>I contacted support and after about 20 emails back and forth they suddenly said multicurrency PayPal accounts weren't supported and I should import the transactions manually using a CSV file.&nbsp;</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>I mentioned this to my accountant and he was surprised as he said he had lots of clients with multicurrency PayPal accounts and it works fine for them.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>I tried another support ticket as my other one had been closed.&nbsp; I was eventually told the same thing - it's not supported and I can only import GBP.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>Is this true - does Quickbooks actually no longer support multicurrency? (and is my accountant therefore lying?)&nbsp; This seems hard to believe, and there was certainly no announcement that I can tell about what would be a significant change in the service.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>Do you have a multicurrency Quickbooks account that's working?</P><P>Thanks for any feedback and help.</P>

<P>Hi, I have quickbooks online. I want to have two different invoice templates. One 'standard' invoice and another 'outstanding' stronger worded invoice template when customers have gone into arrears. I am able to create a 2nd invoice template and change the colour on it, design, font etc but as soon as I change the 'content' ie. the text on the invoice, &nbsp;it changes the text on the original 'standard' invoice as well! &nbsp;Should I be able to do this? or this option not available? it's driving me mad so any help most appreciated.&nbsp;</P><P>thanks&nbsp;</P><P>Emma&nbsp;</P>

<P>Hi,&nbsp; I am having trouble logging in.&nbsp; I used my app to set everything up on the 30 day free trial.&nbsp; This has now gone and i want to take advantage of the 50% off but unable to.&nbsp; when i log in on the app it wants to go through my i tunes account which is £7.99 i dont want to pay that if i can get it for £4.&nbsp; When i log into the account on the PC it just comes up with fetching data and nothing happens!! <P>Is there a way to convert an estimate to a sales receipt in Quickbooks online? Even if there was a quick way to copy the items list over that would be helpful.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>Sometimes when customers come to the shop they ask for a price for what they are looking for. After making an estimate they then decide on whether to buy the products there and then. If they do then we end up manually re-entering the list of items onto a sales receipt. If there was a way to easily copy the items over onto a sales receipt that would be ideal!</P>

<P>I have a customer who has paid a sales invoice but has deducted the money we owe them for supplier invoices off the amount.&nbsp; So I have £1040.00 short on the customer sales account and&nbsp; £1040 outstanding on bills owed to them.&nbsp; How do I reconcile these account to show they are&nbsp; now paid now.&nbsp; &nbsp;I have tried entering a journal ie. CR the supplier account and DR the sales account but it didn;t seem to work - that was obviously wrong! Anyone who can help I would appreciate it.&nbsp;</P>
