Thank you for posting in the Community, @dweilburg. Good news, you have a tool online to reset your QuickBooks. Here's the link: Automated password reset tool.
Click the link I've provided above.
On the drop-down list, choose QuickBooks for windows (2019 or below). The QuickBooks version you recently opened your company file with must be installed on your computer (you're unable to reset the password if this isn't).
Enter the credentials needed and then click Next. (Note: Don't use a 1 (+1) at the beginning when you enter the phone number). If you get a message that says the details you've provided didn't match, login to your Intuit account at CAMPS. Things to check:
Authorized user's name and email address.
Primary Mailing address
License number (under Products and Services; doesn't need a dash).
Phone number (under Account Details, select Gear).
Refer to this link for additional information, notes and steps: Use the Automated Password Reset Tool for QuickBooks Desktop. If you can't find your QuickBooks License number, use this link: Locate your License or Product Number. For this tax season, here's your guide in Preparing for Taxes. It includes a checklist for the end of your business' fiscal year and how to deal with the IRS. Please feel free to leave a message if there's anything else I can help. I'm always here to assist you. Take care!
