Foenix Tax & Business Services LLC (Foenix Tax) is named for the mythical bird of rebirth, the idea of ‘rebirth’ speaks of the drive, determination, and perseverance of the owner, Jamie L Burkart. It also speaks to the idea that anyone can start from where ever they are and be successful. Whether you're starting something new or starting something over. After spending more than 23 years in the accounting field, I have a firsthand feel for how businesses of all sizes and in many industries operate--good and bad. I’ve worked in freelance, for several small “mom and pop” businesses, national and small local accounting firms, medium sized manufacturing companies, and a private billion-dollar manufacturing company. I served in a variety of roles within these companies; from the small family business receptionist answering the phones, providing customer service, helping technicians, answering technical questions, scheduling, accounting, purchasing, and sales; to one of twenty in the corporate accounting department in a private billion-dollar company, taking care of a small piece of their Asia-Pacific accounting. I have also been an independent business owner in sales and business development for fifteen years, officially creating JamieLynn Enterprises LLC in 2012, with multiple divisions. I’ve have gained insight and experience with marketing, promoting, and branding businesses. I enjoy working with small and medium sized business owners to help them meet their goals financially and by helping them finding the right tools to market and attract new customers. Through a great partnership, I still offer great marketing tools for small and medium businesses. Starting my own tax and accounting firm has been a dream of mine. After some years of moving around the state of WI, I have settled back in my home area of Sheboygan County, WI. I can serve clients from any where though.
