Basically I just want my Invoices from Sync with Square to show the product/service instead of "Square Item" so it goes into the correct income accounts without manual edits. I don't need QBO to track inventory stock or cogs. I wasn't able to get this to work correctly until after upgrading from QBO Essentials to Plus, which includes Inventory Tracking, but what I want to know is if that's what made it work or if I coincidentally got my Product list testing correct around the same time. Since I don't need any of the features Plus offers that Essentials doesn't, I would like to downgrade plans if this isn't affecting my Sync.
