Thanks for the instructions but almost all of my customers use mobile numbers and I'd still have to sort through the printed list to find who's calling. I need to be able to enter the mobile number in the customer search bar, hit the search button, and find the name of my customer who's calling within 3 rings of the phone in the same way I can if they are using their Home number. Adding the most common phone number in use today by nearly everyone -Mobile numbers- to the search capabilities [alt phone is already searchable] is what I'll wait for instead. QB won't do a reverse customer search using their mobile phone # but will do so using a home phone #. Because of all the calls we get with spoofed numbers I often need to do this when I have missed a call and want to know who it was that called before I return the call. I can do a reverse customer search using their Home or Alt phone #'s but NOT the mobile # I've tried searching using Customer filter/phone fields and every other trick I can think of but still, no mobile numbers are searched. It was only an annoying issue before but with all these spoofed phone numbers and nuisance calls it's often handy to quickly do a reverse search to see if the number calling is one of my customers or if I should let the call roll over to the answering machine.
