When you sign up for QBO account, Sales should be displayed automatically on the left menu.
Though cache helps browser's background processes, it can also cause unexpected results. Let's do browser troubleshooting steps to get rid of any cache-related issues:
Open a private window and access your QBO account.
If the Sales menu displays successfully, we can go back to your regular browser and clear the cache.
Other supported browsers are good alternatives, too. Each of them stores different cache.
If the same thing happens, I'd recommend reaching out to our Customer Service Team. They can pull up your account and further investigate this issue. Here's how to reach them:
Click Help in the upper-right corner and select Contact us.
Enter the details of your concern such as "missing Sales on the left menu".
Click Let's talk and select how you want to reach them (phone or chat).
