7 Mobile Apps That Are Reinventing the Sales Process

2 min read

Sales professionals today are looking to use mobile technology to edge out the competition. To help you and your sales team get ahead, we present seven mobile apps that can help you save time, make more relevant professional connections, and more easily impress prospective clients.

1. Carry Your Connections in Your Pocket

Need to reach out to prospective clients on the go, but don’t have a call list with you? Start connecting with your LinkedIn network. Many professionals put their phone numbers in their profile, and you can call them straight from your smartphone through the LinkedIn app.

2. Choose a Better Business Card Holder

Business cards can get lost, so why take the risk of carrying physical cards with you? Instead, use CamCard to scan all of the cards you receive into your phone. (The app also allows you to download the list into an Excel spreadsheet.) As with LinkedIn, you can use CamCard to make outbound calls to prospects.

3. Get Paid Faster

When a client is ready to purchase, you need to be ready as well. GoPayment allows you to process credit card transactions on smartphone or internet connected tablet. You book revenue on the go, and the process takes about 2 minutes with the GoPayment card reader.

4. Take Your Slide Decks to Go

Do you have a standard presentation you show to clients? Then upload it to Google Slides and use the Google Drive app to present on your smartphone. You can even include YouTube videos and photos directly in your presentations.

5. Drive Your Slideshows with Your Smartphone

Google Slides are great for one-to-one presentations. But when you are speaking in front of a group, you will probably need your laptop and a screen. With Remote Presentation, you can use your smartphone to remotely guide the presentation along.

6. Never Get Another Parking Ticket

If you do a lot of sales calls in metro areas, you most likely spend too much time looking for parking and worrying about when your meter will expire. The Passport Parking app allows you to track the time on your phone, and then add time remotely if your meeting runs long.

7. Track Contacts and Leads More Easily

You may have tried CRM software in the past and realized it’s too complicated or difficult to use for your needs as a small businessperson. Insightly, a free online CRM tool, offers an easier way and track sales leads and allows you to connect with your network on the go.
