Last month, we brought together over 40 top accountants in Singapore to talk about the future of small business accounting, and the shift of small businesses to the cloud.
At the event, Jim McGinnis (Leader and VP, Intuit’s Accountant and Advisor Group) shared his insights and future predictions for the future of accounting and small businesses in Singapore.
Jim had some sage advice for local small and medium enterprises looking to grow:
“We are at the beginning of a huge shift to the cloud, and 60 million small businesses are early in the adoption curve. Accounting firms and individuals that fail to adapt fast enough will not survive the onslaught of disruptive changes.”
Nora Tucker (Group Product Manager, APAC) also made an appearance to share some exciting product innovations made with Intuit’s Design For Delight philosophy, and Kamlesh Mahtani (Head of Business Development, APAC) shared the benefits of accountants joining the global Intuit ProAdvisor Program.
In the coming days, we’ll be sharing more of what we learned about the future of accounting for small businesses. So stay tuned.
